Using Soundslides

For anyone who wants to know more about Soundslides, below are some useful videos. The first couple are about using Audacity, which we will need to get audio edited. The last one is about Soundslides.

But before you view these videos, click here for the Soundslides video converter. This is the process you need to use to get your slideshow into an MP4 format to post it on YouTube. This is needed if you don’t plan on using the computers in the lab at school.

Podcast assignment information

Podcasting is a very popular form of communication that we will use in class this semester.

We will be using the audio editing software program Audacity to create podcasts. These podcasts will then be posted to our blogs. Please keep in mind the podcasts as well as the blogs are due for grading by March 3.

Below is a YouTube video that will help you get the most out of Audacity, which can be found here.

The LAME plugin is required for us to successfully use MP3 files in our podcasts. This plugin is easily found online. Check out the video below to get a quick overview of this program.
